Prime minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson landed today in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad, India and he was welcome by Gujrat CM Shri Bhupendra Rajnikant Patel and Governor Acharya Devvrat. All the senior officials and ministers were present to receive Boris Johnson. He came to India for a two-day visit. Boris was greeted at the airport by groups performing and playing traditional Gujarati dances and music, they took part 4km roadshow from the airport to his hotel in this city. This is the first time when any UK PM is visiting this state. He is very happy to visit India and you can see the smile on his face in the below image.
Johnson Boris visited Sabarmati Ashram
Johnson visited Mahatma Gandhi’s Sabarmati Ashram and also spins the spinning wheel. He presented a copy of ‘The Spirit’s Pilgrimage’ written by Madeleine Slade (or Mirabehn), who was a disciple of Mahatma Gandhi and supporter of Indian independence. Guide to London’ will be also presented to him, which is written by Mahatma Gandhi but not published. PM Johnson Boris wrote in the visitor book “It is a great honor to visit this ashram”.
Boris Johnson will meet PM Modi tomorrow
Johnson may discuss many issues with prime minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. The UK PM will focus to strengthen bilateral ties, especially defense, trade, technology, and security according to the source. Boris talk’s with Modi will be also about the situation of China in the Indo-Pacific. It is a major situation. They can talk about the Russia-Ukraine war and find a peaceful solution. India continues to trade with Russia- particularly crude oil both UK and US pointed out this matter and also discuss this matter. They will meet tomorrow with Narendra Modi and discuss all matters.
Visa rules will be relaxed
The UK PM has indicated in this direction that they are ready to provide more visas to Indians for free trade with India because a lot of Indians are ready to work in England but they are unable to do so lack of visas. According to Reuters reports, if this deal will be fulfilled with India then Both countries’ businesses may benefit from billions of dollars.

Boris visited Gujarat Biotechnology University with Bhupendra Rajnikant Patel and attended an event in Gandhi Nagar, Gujrat.
