LIC IPO Allotment: Initial public offering (IPO) of the life insurance corporation (LIC) was subscribed 2.94 times and bidders can check the allotment status today. If you are lucky, you can get an allotment.

Much awaited LIC IPO has been allotted on 12 May 2022. The total subscription of IPO was 2.94 times. Retail investor was subscribed 1.97 times, while the Non-Institutional portion was subscribed 2.91 times, qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) portion was subscribed 2.83 times. Apart from these employee portions were subscribed 436 % or 4.36 times as well while the policyholder’s segment was subscribed 6.06 times or 606 per cent. The IPO bidding date was 4 May-9 May. The price range was fixed at rs902-949 for all investors apart from policyholders and employees. Employees received 45rs discount per share and policyholders got a 60 rs discount per share but these two segments subscribed most.

IPO is an offer for sale(OFS) where the Government of India is selling its 3.5% stake in life insurance.
The central government will collect Rs 21,000 cr from this IPO.

Investors can check IPO allotment status on BSE Website

1: Visit https://www.bseindia.com/investors/appli_check.aspx

2: Select issue type equity and issue name life insurance of India in the dropdown box

3: After that write Application No or Pan No

4: Click on ‘ I’m not a robot’ and click submit button

Apart from that, you can check allotment status on the registrar’s website (KFin Technologies)

1: Visit https://ris.kfintech.com/ipostatus/ipos.aspx

2: Click on ‘LIC IPO’ tab

3: Select either one of the three modes: Application number, PAN ID, or Client ID

4: Select between ASBA and non-ASBA in the application type

5: Enter the details of the mode you selected in Step 2

6: Type the captcha code and hit submit button

Bidders who have not allotted shares in IPO will get a refund on May 13. Those who got allotment shares may see the credit of their shares in the Demat account by May 16 and IPO is likely listed in the market on 17 May.
